NCERT class book shows Indian culture Malhar Hindi Text Book Class 6


The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is constantly making changes in its books. Along with this, the work of preparing books is also being done continuously by NCERT. After the sixth class English, NCERT has now prepared and published a Hindi book. This book has been named ‘Malhar’. A total of 13 chapters have been included in this book based on the proposals of NEP 2020.

A glimpse of India’s tradition and culture can be seen in every chapter of this book. Some excerpts from the autobiographies of personalities who have taken the country’s name to great heights have been given in the book. At the end of this book, new words have been given to the students so that they can get information about them. The cover page of the book has also been made very attractive.

NCERT director Dinesh Prasad Saklani says that the Malhar book includes major genres of literature. It contains compositions based on patriotism, environment, science, art, history, sports and experiences of Indian society. A conversational style has been used in the book so that students can understand the topics easily. Each question is accompanied by a pictorial hint that helps students understand what they have to do.

Contains multiple lessons

The Malhar textbook has additional works outside the exam, including an introduction to the Indian Braille script ‘Bharati’ and a translation of a poem by Tamil poet Subramania Bharati. The book highlights Indian culture and tradition. The Matribhoomi text describes India’s history, geography and characteristics. The Goal text describes the Indian hockey team’s Berlin Olympics victory from Major Dhyan Chand’s autobiography.

In the lesson Meri Maa, you will get an opportunity to know the life of the heroes of the Indian freedom struggle through the autobiography of Ramprasad Bismil. “Ped Ki Baat” written by Jagadish Chandra Basu tells about the relation of plants and trees with animals. The book also includes the works of Surdas and Rahim and pictures and graphics have been used.
